Cherry Creek Vista South Residents,

Please Look:  have you seen your first CCVS newsletter?  It should be to you by now, probably among all the other mail that arrives this time of year.  We are so happy to be able to publish something for the first time in over 20 years!!!!!!  If you are interested in advertising your business in the next issue please contact us at:  ccvistasouthhoa@gmail.com.

Please take the opportunity to look at this newsletter and see what is going on in Our neighborhood.

No HOA in our neighborhood you say, well perhaps we have been a bit quiet but there has been an HOA in CCVS almost going back to the beginning of the neighborhood.  The problem is "nobody really knows about it"  ..

The CCVS HOA wants to help everyone here in the neighborhood.  We want you to love where you live.  We want to ensure the value of your property.  We want to make sure folks who do not want to take care of their homes or properties are held accountable to the standards that we (the homeowners) agree upon. The covenants and the process to enforce those covenants are important to sustain the value we desire in our neighborhood.  To this effort, we need your Help.  This is your Neighborhood, this is Your community - and we need your support in order to maintain it.

Please keep that in mind when you see a mailing for your vote and as we come around in March to discuss why it is so important to update our Covenants and what that means to you as a homeowner - because it is up to you and we need your Vote to make this happen.

Cherry Creek Vista South Neighbors,

This is a notice from the Home Owners Association to let you know that there some great opportunities to get involved in the neighborhood.   All the positions are volunteer, however, they do not require a lot of commitment and allow you to find out more about the neighborhood.

First, there is an open board position as Secretary.  The main duties as Secretary are as follows:  record the minutes at the meetings, ad hoc duties requested by the President of the HOA and organizing community events.

Second, there is an open position for Member at Large.  The main duties of this position is to attend meetings when possible and to assist with any efforts or events that board is working towards.

Lastly, we are always looking for ad hoc volunteers to help in various areas.  Some of these areas might be mailings,  notice distribution, assistance at events and so forth.  This position allows person to dictate when and how they might assist and this is open to teenagers that have interest.

If you have any questions or interest, please contact us at:  ccvistasouthhoa@gmail.com

And if interested, Please come to the next meeting on June 9th, 7:00 p.m. at Koebel Library.

Thank you for your consideration.

Cherry Creek Vista South Neighbors,

Cherry Creek Vista South and Cherry Creek Vista are working together this spring to have a Combined Neighborhood Garage Sale scheduled for Saturday, June 4th(8:00 am -2:00 pm).

What does this mean and what will the HOA do?

What this means to you is that HOAs will advertise for the both neighborhoods.  We will try and attract potential buyers with the fact that there are two neighborhoods with many families participating in the sale.  While you may be interested in Selling, you might also be interested in Buying.

We will post on Craig’s list and Next Door for the neighborhood and will have the 2 A-frames up to announce the neighborhood sale as well.

What are you responsible for?

You will need to create your own signs and place them where you feel would be appropriate to direct potential buyers to your garage.

You are on your own for what you are selling, pricing and negotiating with buyers.  And if you are a buyer yourself in our neighborhood or Cherry Creek Vista, you are responsible for the details of the sale that you negotiate with the seller.

Both Homeowner’s Associations will only be facilitating notice of the garage sale to potential buyers.

Lastly, please be respectful of all neighbors and the neighborhood and remove all your signage by end of day Sunday to help keep our neighborhood clean.

THANK YOU everyone for your attention and best wishes for your own successful garage sale!
